Child Evangelism Fellowship of Alberta and Saskatchewan ("we" or "us") value your child's privacy. These online 5-Day Clubs ("clubs" or "club") provide a fun and exciting way for the children to learn about God, Jesus, and the Bible and the privacy & safety of the children are extremely important to us.
This privacy policy explains what information we gather from a child as well as how that information is stored. All children under the age of 16 are required to have their parent's or guardian's consent as well as provide us with their parent's or guardian's e-mail address for us to inform them of their child submitting a quiz for these online 5-Day Clubs.
How We Collect and Use A Child's Information
Children can view and explore our website ("www.5dayclubs.com") without providing any personal information.
When a child submits (e-mail) a quiz online or by mail-in we aim to gather as little identifiable information about that child as possible. We cannot guarantee that what the child answers the questions on the quiz with will not be identifiable but we have created the questions in a way that the answers should not encourage personal answers (example: What is a Missionary?).
The identifiable information that we gather on a quiz about a child is as follows:
This information that we collect from the child is used to enable us to correspond with them (through snail mail) to provide Bible lessons ("Mailbox Club Lessons") for the child to do after the club is over. If at any time you decide that you would like to stop your child from receiving these lessons in the mail you can do so by contacting us using the various ways on our contact page.
When a child submits a 5-Day Club Quiz from our website, that information is e-mailed to a secure e-mail address of ours which we then print and delete the e-mail to ensure that we don't store a child's information online. This e-mail is protected with a password that is up to today's security standards. This e-mail address is also not publicized anywhere.
