I just want to update you on how yesterday (Tuesday) went.

Club #1: Tuesday we had no kids, and today again we didn’t have any kids. We were hoping that the reason why no one was coming, was because it was pouring. Today it was sunny, so that must not be the reason! So pray that if it’s God’s will that He will bring some kids tomorrow and Friday. Also that He would soften the hearts of the parents who aren’t letting their kids come to our club. Pray also for the Host and myself, as we are feeling a little discouraged, that we would find Joy!

Vbs #2: Prayer was answered!! after feeling a little discouraged on Monday for not having any kids in the VBS we had 5 kids in our club on Tuesday!! Everything went very well. There may be more kids coming today, so Pray!!

Even though I didn’t have any kids in my first club, I am thankful that God gave me 5 kids in the VBS. God has a reason for everything, and if it’s His will that I don’t have any kids in my first club, then I need to accept it! Be thankful for what God has given me 🙂

I know I’m terrible at updating the blog so I apologize! I will try and do better!

My clubs the week of July 20-24  went really well! I had 2 kids accept Jesus into their hearts that week ! So Praise the Lord!!

So this week I have two clubs!

Club 1: This club had 2 children in it, but they aren’t able to make the rest of the week sadly. So please pray that more kids would come because now we are back to no kids in the club.

Club 2: This club was a vbs, and sadly no kids showed up!! So Pray that we would have some kids tomorrow and the rest of the week!

I find it encouraging how the Lord can encourage us in so many different ways. As I was drinking tea today, the mug that I was drinking out of had a bible verse on it. Psalm 29:11 “The Lord will give strength to His people; The Lord will bless His people with peace.” I just found that verse very encouraging, as sometimes teaching 5 day clubs can get tiring, or when you get lost on the way to a club, it can be frustrating. I hope this verse is encouraging to those who are reading this blog, as it was encouraging to me.

I thought the title for this blog was suitable, seeing as it rained and stormed ALL day…giving me quite the adventure.

My first club was a VBS held inside the church, so the rain wasn’t a problem at all, thank goodness! I had 17 kids attend this VBS, which was amazing. Although I had a few kids in the club that wouldn’t listen and were very disrespectful to me and the other kids around them. They would complain about everything, and didn’t have a desire to learn about Jesus what so ever! Pray that the rest of the week would go well, and that those kids that weren’t listening would be “turned around” and would desire to know more about God. Although those kids were a distraction, the club went well seeing as  there were 6 kids who accepted Jesus into their heart today! 🙂 It was such a blessing to be able to lead them to Christ. They were all around the age of 10 and were VERY serious about accepting Jesus into their heart, and were also super excited!

My second club didn’t go as planned, it was pouring outside, and the club was suppose to be held at a park across from the church. For the first 15 minutes no one showed up at all, and I was worried about where this club was going to be held. Anyways 4 kids ended up going to the club, and we ended up having it on the front steps of the church protected from the storm. Praise Jesus! One of those kids was a Muslim and his mom sat through the whole entire club, and was VERY interested. At the end of the club when I gave the invitation 3 of the boys who NEVER heard about Jesus before, accepted Jesus into their heart. I made sure that they were certain that they wanted to follow Jesus…and they said that they wanted to be changed, just like Zacchaeus! it touched my heart ! Now the Muslim mom told me that her and her kid were Muslims, I asked if she would like the little book of John that I gave the other three boys, and she gladly accepted. Please Pray that the rain would stay away for the rest of the week, so that we would be able to continue to have this club, in a more comfortable setting. Also pray for the mom and her kid who took the book of John home with her, that they would come back 🙂 And Accept Jesus!

Now sadly…my 3rd club is cancelled for the whole week because it’s suppose to storm, and her club was to be held at the park! But don’t worry, she re-booked for August 🙂

It was quite an interesting first day! Got lost a lot….got stuck in traffic because of the storm! But overall 9 kids accepted Jesus! So I have a lot to be thankful for 🙂
